The moments in life that take your breath away are priceless. Investing in photography is a way to freeze time on those moments so you can cherish them forever. I strive to make your all inclusive experience with me as smooth and seamless as possible.
Booking Your Session
All sessions are booked through the contact link or through the shop link. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your session date. If the session is cancelled or rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe, the deposit can be applied toward a future session. If you need to cancel a session once it is booked, please do so as soon as possible to open that date for another client. A link will be sent to you once your session is booked with a contract and deposit.
Before Your Session
All sessions include a pre-session questionnaire to discuss your hopes, location, wardrobe, etc. which is a crucial piece for me to have so I can bring your vision to life. Complementary wardrobe styling service is included with all of my sessions which helps eliminate the stress of what to wear. I want you to feel as prepared as possible before your session so you can enjoy quality time with your family and have treasured images to look back on for a lifetime.
During Your Session
Outdoor sessions are taken during the beautiful, golden hour before sunset. Full sessions take about one hour and in the vicinity of Lake County and Chicagoland (a travel fee is incurred 30 minutes outside of 60047). In studio sessions are located at The Collective Studio in downtown Barrington. Please contact me for travel session opportunities, I do travel outside of the area to shoot a few times a year.
During the shoot, I will direct and prompt you through each shot so that everyone looks as natural as possible. My hope is that your session turns into quality time with your family, while I capture the sweet details and beautiful chaos that is your world.
After Your Session
After your session, I spend time selecting the best of the best to edit. I will most likely post a few sneak peeks of your images on my social media pages. Sneak peeks can be really fun for the client (and the Artist) to relive the moment before receiving the gallery. Please do not crop, print, edit, or change the image. You are welcome to share sneak peeks to your page and use the images as your profile picture as long as the image is not altered and photo credit is given. I love when clients share their images with others!
Once your gallery is completed, I upload the high resolution images to a password protected gallery that is delivered to you digitally. Beautiful prints and products can also be ordered directly through the gallery. These galleries can be shared with family and friends and will be delivered about two to four weeks after your session date. Sometimes sooner! You have the rights to use your own professional grade print vendor if you choose not to print through me. I am happy to give high quality printing recommendations and always here for you even after your session.
