Every baby arrives with their own unique story.
I love getting to know each family that I photograph, and hearing their family story that they hold close to their hearts.  It makes my job so special.
This sweet baby boy surprised his family by arriving 11 weeks early, weighing 3.3 pounds.
With lots of love and care, he spent many days in the NICU being spoiled by the nurses as he gained weight, learned how to suck, breath, and swallow on his own before being released to go home.
As a parent, I couldn’t imagine the extra emotions involved having to leave the hospital
without your baby in your arms.
It takes strong, positive, and graceful parents to endure these obstacles.
Christopher’s parents were perfectly made just for his birth story.
On day 64 Christopher Fox was able to go home!
What I loved so much about this family is that they embraced the challenges that they endured as first time parents.
They have a healthy baby boy, and are so very grateful.

Christopher came to see me when he was a little over 2 months old, and weighing about 8lbs.
He was a dream baby, and I fell in love with his adorable grunts and smiles.
This is a newborn story that I will for sure always remember.

New to RH Photography this year will be Lifestyle sessions as another option to
capture your family’s story.
Some of you might be thinking, what the heck is lifestyle photography?
It’s really quite simple.
Lifestyle Photography captures the subject’s real-life events or milestones in an artistic manner.
The primary goal is to tell stories about people’s life in the comfort of their home
or location that has special meaning.
It could be the simplicity of snuggling in a bed like this maternity session below,
or it could be in the kitchen baking cookies together as a family.
Lifestyle Photography, however, is more than taking candid shots.
It is about capturing images that reveal a story. A personality. A relationship. A feeling.
I can’t wait to tell your ‘in the moment’ story.

Just pinch me.
Traveling for work during the bitter cold months in the midwest!?! Yes, please!
I have always hoped and dreamed that I would be able to take my photography passion to other parts of the country.
This family gave me the most amazing opportunity to travel to Scottsdale, Arizona to document their precious family.
This was an extra special experience as we got to break their sessions up into two evenings, allowing me to try totally different sunset locations.
It was eventful, and I have fallen in love with Arizona!!!  Such unique landscapes and breathtaking sunsets.
This family couldn’t have been more fun and adventurous in the desert with two little ones. So many favorites from this session.
