About a year ago Erin contacted me about the possibility of booking a travel session to the Cape Cod.
Their kids are fantastic ages to explore the East Coast, and they had a lot to celebrate this year.
What better way to celebrate turning forty and anniversaries than savoring it with a family session on your special vacation!?!
Hands down most genius gift!

This travel session was just everything.
We had clouds, we had sun, and we explored multiple locations.
Oh, and let’s not forget all the amazing seafood consumed.
I can’t thank this family enough for making this trip an unforgettable experience. So very thankful!
This was simply one of my favorite evenings ever with one special backdrop.

Hope

The amount of love that I have for this family is hard to put into words.
They were one of the first families we met when we moved to Lake Zurich,
and have remained a constant in our daily lives.
We have lived together, cried together, laughed LOTS together,
and raised our kids together through all of the highs and lows.
I know that we could count on each other in any situation.
Our friendship is a rare one. One that I don’t take for granted.
Gah! I’m starting to get emotional writing this.
Seeing both John and Regina work so hard for their family’s lifestyle is so inspiring.
They have the most amazing traditions that deeply bond them as a family.

For the past ten years our families have enjoyed a long summer weekend at my parents lake house
(thanks mom & dad!),
so it only seemed fitting to give them a true Wisconsin summer session.
We had the most breathtaking night full of warm sunset adventures.
Hope family, you make life way more fun…especially when Spotted Cow is involved.
Love all five of you to the moon and back!

Dear Blake Beckett Arndt,
Welcome to the family sweet baby boy!
A few things you should know…
Your mama and I met at intro to college our first day at UW-Green Bay.
Our maiden names Becker & Beckett set us up for instant friendship.
(I was thrilled when your mama told me your middle name would be Beckett!)
Your mom and I were joined at the hip for the next four years of college.
(I really hope you get her friendship skills. Or party skills!?! Both would be bonus.)
Your mommy was my biggest cheerleader. She made it to every single one of my college home swim meets,
and she made me a good luck card for every away meet.
(I have no doubt she will be your biggest fan in all that you do,
but always remind her that she has great card making skills!
I still have mine to prove it if she starts slacking in that department)
Speaking of biggest fans, you will have to fight for her attention when the Packers are playing.
She legit LOVES herself some Clay Matthews.  I’m actually surprised she didn’t name you Clay.
(Just show her a picture of Clay’s hair flipping skills if you get in trouble and you will be off the hook. Your welcome.)
Although your mom makes a mean rice crispy chicken dinner, your dad is the REAL cook in the family.
(I really hope you get his grilling skills.)
Now let’s chat about your brothers real quick.
They ADORE you!
Seeing them embrace your cute chubby bod during your newborn session brought tears to my eyes.
(Mason will teach you a thing or two about Science.
Merrick will snuggle you all day but then toughen you up for sports.)
You have completed your family so perfectly.
No matter what state you live in I promise to visit.
Who knows!?!
Maybe one of the Arndt boys will go to college with my girls, and your mom and I can relive our college years together.
Or we can just plan an arranged marriage!?!
Either way I can’t wait to watch you grow up with your brothers.

Love you SO much,
Robby (or as your brother’s call me, “Wobby!”)
